[Dell optiplex 390][SFF] Dvd drive not recognized by system

Bug Description
Attempting to play a DVD in the DVD drive does not result in the system attempting to play the DVD. The system will not show an icon on the desktop or pop-up the default application handler. The DVD can be heard spinning in the drive when first inserted.

Could you test DVD reading on windows to see if it can work?
From google, many guys are touched by this kind of issue and are fixed by
changing SATA port on the motherboard.
