Hello,
I have a Dell Latitude D420 with an intel graphics card. When I plug an external monitor into it and goto System-

The time stamp in dmesg.txt at [36.312025] is when I plug in my external monitor and go to system- >preferences- >Display.
This happens if I were to type xrandr --auto, which is what I've been doing for years.
This happens every single time, completely predictable, same outcome every time.
