Confirmed: cannot use the external monitor, computer will crash as soon
as I try to switch in on with toshset or xrandr or Gnome tool . Was working ok with
9.04.

Hardware: Toshiba Portege R600, with intel 945GM.

Software: Ubuntu 9.10 (clean install)
