I think the developers will expect more details than this. Are you using GNOME or KDE? And is the Hebrew keyboard layout implemented in GNOME or KDE or using Scim/Skim? On my system I use Indian language keyboard layouts using Skim on KDE but Ctrl+W (and other shortcuts for that matter) work properly.
