Recently was reported this bug to gnome-shell:

The same problem can also affect Unity. I need to check with Luke if the at-spi2 packed on Oneiric would include that change.

The Ubuntu oneiric at-spi-atk package is version 2.1.91, and we do not have any patches in that package, so whatever at-spi upstream has been changed to, we have also.
