Unable to move synaptic download window to another workspace

When synaptic is downloading/installing packages or upgrades to packages, I am unable to move the synaptic windows to another workspace. Instead it minimises.
The bug does not show up when in another situation than currently downloading or installing of new packages.

Synaptic 0.57.8ubuntu5 on Dapper Flight 5.

Have the same problem in Dapper Beta2 LiveCD (this used to work in Breezy). Also, I think this is the same as the unconfirmed bug #33907 (commented to that as well).

sorry. forgot to mention. synaptic doesn;t move when syncing with the repos as well (getting the list of packages, as in apt-get update)

A workaround to this is to switch desktops as you move it, which you can do with the keyboard. By default it's bound to Ctrl+Alt+Shift+arrow keys.

I made a mistake at the bugreport. It is not true that synaptic/gnome-app-install/update-manager minimises when trying to move it to another workspace. It disappears, but stays visible on the window list, without square brackets around its name in gnome, meaning it is not minimised.
Instead, if I minimise it first (so there are brackets around its name), then there is no problem and I can move the application to other workspaces.
Hope this helps finding the source of the bug.
