Bug Description
I'm printing to a Brother HL-1440 with the foomatic/hl1250 driver over IPP to a remote cupsys print server. With 1.2.0-0ubuntu5 everything is fine. With 1.2.2-0ubuntu0.6.06 all print jobs look come out just as PCL code, e.g.:
-12345X@PJL
@PJL JOB NAME ="Ghost"
@PJL SET ECONOMODE=OFF
@PJL SET MEDIATYPE=REGULAR
@PJL SET SOURCETRAY=AUTO
@PJL SET RESOLUTION=300
@PJL SET RAS1200MODE=OFF
@PJL ENTER LANUAGE=PCL

Do you try to print from Windows to an Ubuntu print server or from anthor Ubuntu or Linux machine? Are both the print server and client CUPS version 1.2.2?
Please attach the output of the printingbuginfo script for both print server and client, read more here: https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/PrintingBug InfoScript
