Chris, I burned image and ran it live (wow, 15.4 beta!). No difference.
Back at work with 14.4, I've got the newest HPLIP installed and get the
same communication error as before: code 12.
Thanks if you even read this; I'm quite frustrated. Any additional help
will be gladly welcomed. I may try a fresh install of SuSE 13.2, or a clean
install of 14.4 to see if it'll work.
