MatatTHC, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please provide an example document that demonstrates this problem?

The problem is still occuring on the OfficeJet 6500. The printout is shifted to the top of the paper if the margin is small sometimes a part of the page is missing. It happens with any printed pdf from evince. I do not know if it affects also other pdf viewers like acrobat or other programs like libreoffice (I could try).

+ What version of Ubuntu are you currently using?
+ Could you please unplug all USB devices from your computer, plug in only the OfficeJet 6500 USB device, immediately place the following in a terminal and attach the uncompressed results:
lsusb -v > lsusb-v.log
+ Could you please execute the following in a terminal:
apport-collect 1018520
+ Could you please provide the missing information following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems ?
