Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-volume-
I have an external USB harddrive with two partitions luks encrypted. In dapper and edgy, these partitions will be automounted after asking for a password. In feisty herd4 (upgraded as of feb 27), ubuntu will ask for a password but will not mount them even if they were successfully luksOpen'ed, i.e. the devices are show in /dev/mapper/, e.g.
/dev/mapper/
has anyone else seen this? i hope this gets fixed for the final feisty release...
=======
- Opened my "home" in Nautilus
- Double-clicked on the "encrypted filesystem" drive (that was already plugged-in)
- Got the "/dev/sdc already setup ?" message

This had been a long standing issue in udev that has been fixed just recently. Can you please upgrade your system to the latest Feisty packages and test again? For me and many other people it now works out of the box.
If it does not work for you, please do the steps on https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/DebuggingRe movableDevices. Thank you!
