Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-volume-manager

When I plug in a USB harddrive containing both encrypted and normal partitions, the normal partitions are mounted but the encrypted ones are not.

I am asked for a password for the encrypted partition, and a new device luks_crypto_b6331b77-cd2e-4469-a9a3-f302ef75d538 is created in /dev/mapper, but it is not mounted anywhere.

Actually the mounting works once, but if the device is disconnected and reattached it does not work any longer until the computer has been restarted.

Same here with two LUKS encrypted USB drives. I found out that a couple of days ago I could get the drives mounted correctly under /media/VOLUME_NAME by entering the wrong passphrase during the first and the correct passphrase during the second attempt. But that doesn't work anymore. After entering the correct passphrase during the first attempt the device is created under /dev/mapper/luks_crypto...etc. However it will not be mounted. Manually mounting /dev/mapper/luks_crpyto...etc. works though.
