Hi Ralph!
I'm sorry that I didn't answer sooner, I lost the notifications from this bug report.
I just notice that you're running a new version of the SSO client, maybe because you have the Ubuntu One nightlies installed? If so, please update, you should be upgraded to 1.1.9. In version 1.1.8, we fixed a bug that look very similar to your problem (bug #693531).
