For clarity, would be able to approximately draw the suggested change, as this would make it easier to communicate (the calligrapher behind the Ubuntu Arabic doesn't speak English).
Perhaps the easiest way is to grab the screenshot above and open it in Gimp. Then copy and paste the existing, and go over it with the eraser and eg. a red paintbrush. (Or do the same with vectors in Inkscape).
