Bug Description
Binary package hint: linux-restricte
The Eee PC has non-working wireless out of the box. A patch is available from the madwifi website:
http://
I'd like to have working wireless in hardy, without having to patch/compile manually :)

Wireless driver: atheros- swan-modules- 2.6.21. 4-eeepc_ 20070713- 2_i386. deb
It sounds like the madwifi drivers for Atheros are considered to be an acceptable substitute, however there is a patch (see http:// wiki.eeeuser. com/ubuntu) to Ubuntu's version of the driver to make it work with EEE PC.
