Follow these instructions for installing the necessary software to compile the madwifi driver with then you will have to get the latest madwifi driver--the instructions for downloading it did not work for me but the location is correct.  Once you compile the driver and install it following the instructions it just worked.  If you have trouble let me know and i will try to help.
