a) Possibly related to old entries in the list of previously open files (in the file ".recently-used.xbel", used and shared by all GTK+ applications).

b) If this error is not caused by references to an image on drive C in the list of recently opened files, nor to old paths stored in the preferences file, it seems related to or a duplicate of
