Bug Description

On Feisty herd 3, if you type the wrong character in the parameter box (i.e. anything that does NOT start with "/") for the mounting point, then there seems to be no way to exist out of the error diagonal window (or at least that I could find). And by the way, the drop down for the mounting point parameter is not populated.

Also, I might point out that the hard drive partitioner in Feisty herd 3 is not very intuitive at all. The display for your open hard drive pops up and then you have NO clue as to what it is that you are supposed to do next to get the process started.

Thanks.

To be sure: Do you mean the graphical installer (Desktop- CD) or the text mode installer (Alternate- CD)?

Thanks for your report. I've fixed the error loop for my next upload, and you should find that it'll be a bit more obvious what to do with that upload since I've added buttons to the display, although the full user interface as designed isn't in place yet (that's known and doesn't need a bug).

The lack of population of the mountpoint drop down is also bug 85713.

    - Add contextual buttons to GTK frontend (part of LP: #83166).
    - Add an undo facility.
