Bug Description

I had an affiliate user report this issue. They were invited to a community and when they tried to accept the invitation by opening the link in Safari, the page loaded half way and then froze. When I suggested they try the link using FF, everything worked fine. There seems to be a problem with the accept invitation/account creation page on Safari. I attached the screenshot the user sent me.

Balazs, can you look at this one during this week? Let me know if you need help figuring out how to look at an invitation without using email. (If you go to a community, invite someone, then look at the list of members, you'll see a row for the invitation. Mouseover the email address and you'll see the six-letter code for the invitation. With that, go to /communities/community/members/code as a non-logged-in person.)

I cannot reproduce this. Tested both on my sandbox and on branch1. Page loads without a problem.

The screenshot suggest that the browser could not load all resources from the server. This is likely a network or server problem. Javascript does not enter here: there is no way to produce this effect with javascript, as we never get to the domload event.

Next time the problem is occurs, please note the exact time so we can look for possible errors on the server side. Also, please suggest the user to try reloading the page.

Also, please supply the exact Safari version that the user is experiencing the error with (so, I can re-test with the exact same version)

The user that reported this was able to complete to process using Firefox so it wasn't a network issue. But I'll assign to Nat to get information about the Safari.

I have emailed the user who reported this problem. She's an affiliate user, not a staff member, so hopefully she will still respond. Will let you know either way.

Once you are able to recreate it, re-assign it to us with the details.
