Well that was quick. The user was on Safari version 4.1.3.

Bug description:
  I had an affiliate user report this issue. They were invited to a
  community and when they tried to accept the invitation by opening the
  link in Safari, the page loaded half way and then froze. When I
  suggested they try the link using FF, everything worked fine. There
  seems to be a problem with the accept invitation/account creation page
  on Safari. I attached the screenshot the user sent me.
