Bug Description
1. You have a dock full of launchers that fills the screen.
2. You drag an item into the dock.
temporarily, the Dock becomes the original size set in prefs.

This isn't a spacing issue, this is a dock size issue. As in the background temporarily gets drawn larger and then shrinks again.
