Running Intrepid Ibex Alpha 6 AMD64 with all updates applied.
Just did the latest updates, restarted as required and got this crash report.

I installed valgrind, worked fine.
Removed any old logs, said no such file or directory.
Tried to start valgrind and got - bash: syntax error near unexpected token `<'

I have this problem as well, under Linux 2.6.27-3-generic x86_64 (can't run -4 as it causes my PC speaker to beep constantly and does not boot). Under fresh install of Ubuntu 8.10 alpha 6 as well.
