Bug Description

After installing libsane-extras and performing a reboot the /dev/disk directory is removed and unable to mount swap, home and NTFS partitions. Replacing /dev/disk/by -* directories will allow a manual mount but still unable to login via GDM. uninstalling package still make no difference.
Dual boot system
# /etc/fstab: static file system information.

Uninstalling the package with --purge fixed this for me, but another solution that worked was to delete the offending symlink /etc/udev/ rules.d/ 025_libsane- extras. rules.
I just reinstalled the package and it didn't recreate the symlink. So perhaps that file was created by a previous version that's no longer available?
