Uninstalling the package with --purge fixed this for me, but another solution that worked was to delete the offending symlink /etc/udev/rules.d/025_libsane-extras.rules.
I just reinstalled the package and it didn't recreate the symlink. So perhaps that file was created by a previous version that's no longer available?
