Bug Description
I'm not entirely sure how you've managed it but you've released a broken version of "ip" in the current incarnation if "hardy".
Sample;
root@nodea:~# ./ip link set eth0 up
RTNETLINK answers: Invalid argument
I can't even begin to think about the number of packages this might break, but for now let's just say "Xen".
My Solution;
Copy back "/sbin/ip" from "gutsy".

Hi,
Do you get that error message for all usage of ip, or just that particular one?
Also, can you please post the result of "uname -a"?
Thanks
