I don't know if this should be forward to OpenVZ Ubuntu team.
I make a mistake, it don't work:
with old iproute i don't get RTNETLINK error but ARP requests to OpenVZ VE aren't resolved so VM aren't reachable via network.
Moreover during startup of VE I get:
Starting VE ...
VE is mounted
Adding IP address(es): 192.168.100.110
[: 42: ==: unexpected operator
Setting CPU units: 2013
Configure meminfo: 36234
Set hostname: www.altraqua.com
File resolv.conf was modified
VE start in progress...
The "unexpected operator" error seem due to function vzarp() exactly command at line 146 of /usr/lib/vzctl/scripts/vps-functions.
I have another server NOT amd64 (Xeon) with 8.04 and openvz up and running.
