Closing last window from detail mode doesn't update selection

Bug Description

1) Open two windows of the same application
2) Press Alt+` (or equivalent in your keyboard)
3) Move selection with the last window (using mouse or keyboard)
4) Close the window by pressing Alt+q (or equivalent for your keyboard)
   or middle click over the window, or click on the close button

Expected:
5) Window closes and selection is moved to the last window in group

Actual:
5) Window is closed, but selection is not updated
