Wishlist: Unity's .png resources could be much smaller

I am attaching a screenshot here showing the possible savings when recompressing the .png files with Trimage Image Compressor ( http://trimage.org/ ).

I have removed the linked branch, because it was completely outdated when the assets changed, but I can redo it if it gets merged this time...
