Bug Description
https:/
I don't know exactly what's going on, but the bug seems to not be in KDE: "is this by accident that i see only ubuntu reports?"
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.04
Package: plasma-desktop 4:4.10.5-0ubuntu0.1
ProcVersionSign
Uname: Linux 3.8.0-26-generic i686
ApportVersion: 2.9.2-0ubuntu8.3
Architecture: i386
Date: Fri Jul 12 10:08:09 2013
MarkForUpload: True
SourcePackage: kde-workspace
UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to raring on 2013-05-07 (66 days ago)
[Impact]
Causes plasma-desktop to randomly crash for time in time with some hardware configurations.
[Test Case]
If you've experienced crashes try the updated version for a few days and see if the crashes are gone.
[Regression Potential]
The patch has already been removed 3 months ago in saucy with no regression reports.
The underlying bug was fixed in 4.8.4 and this patch reverts parts of that.
