Bug Description
I have experienced this with Seagate 250gb External HDD, but similar cases have been found around the internet. Other USB-devices. such as Ipods are working perfectly. Plugging the drive in should give the user 1) Shortcut to desktop 2) Shortcut to Location-tab 3) Nautilus or similar program opened, if they properties have been selected so from System -> Settings -> Drives and Medias-program. Also, these drives dont seem to mount properly as writable, causing programs such as Nautilus crash. On the other hand, mounting them as read only-drives seem to work.
