Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
gnome-terminal started to translate mouse-wheel events into history scrolling, which doesn't work well when there's not a command prompt (another command running). this behaviour should at least be a configuration option; commands other than the shell may be confused by the escape codes sent as input.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Unfortunately we can't fix it, because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" <http:// www.chiark. greenend. org.uk/ ~sgtatham/ bugs.html>. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.
