Sorry, that wasn't very clear.

With the regular gnome terminal without running screen, the mouse scrolls through the *scrollback* of the terminal (ie what you would expect since the widget has a scrollbar). It's just running inside screen that makes it scroll through command history, for me. Matthias - can you reproduce it outside of screen?
