Bug Description

[Impact]
The Unity-2D build dependency libgeis-dev has been renamed. Unity-2D needs to be updated.

[Test Case]
Perform a package build for all packages.
Also, test that touch gestures work for both Unity and Unity-2D in different cases.

[Regression Potential]
None. The new libgeis only contains changes to rename files and symbols. There are no functional changes.

Hello Francis, or anyone else affected,

Accepted unity-2d into precise-proposed. The package will build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity-2d/5.12.0-0ubuntu1.2 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users.

If this package fixes the bug for you, please change the bug tag from verification-needed to verification-done. If it does not, change the tag to verification-failed. In either case, details of your testing will help us make a better decision.

Further information regarding the verification process can be found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Thank you in advance!

Verified that precise package can be built from source inside a pbuilder chroot. Also verified 2 finger scrolling and 2 finger tap works.

Gestures in unity-2d[1] are still working with version 5.12.0-0ubuntu1.2. Therefore marking as verified

[1] - 4 fingers tap to show dash and 4 fingers drag to hide and show the launcher.

Tested with Precise on ARM (Pandaboard) and the fix didn't bring any other side effect or regression, besides fixing the proposed bug.
