Indeed, I went and got myself a clean image with memtest and there are no problems, I had exactly the problem you described, that it failed at test #7.
How can they now have a BIG warning of this?
Or is there already a bug for that?

Again, thanks a lot, you saved me a lot of trouble.

I will now do a clean install and hope that my graphic problems are gone.
