Patch applied, tested and working perfectly :)
Been testing for over two hours now and hasn't missed a beat! no freezing, no issues of any kind with touchpad.

Dell Inspiron 15 7537
intel 4400/nvidia GT750m
synaptics touchpad
Linux Mint 17 x64 KDE, kernel 3.17.4

Tested with nvidia-331 drivers, will try also 340 and 346 (xedgers) tomorrow
