Comment 3 for bug 497643

Just installed and I haven't found the control to add the transaction yet.
My suggestion is to simply make it a drop down menu option under a "file" menu option (not present however) and a clear "transaction" button above the ledger.

idea of blinking the button to add a transaction, like the account
button does, seem sufficient? And, do you like the placement and

Bug description:
After adding an account, it isn't obvious how to add a transaction. Perhaps the control should be at the top, or blink like the account button when you don't have any (or both!).

Any opinions, anyone?
