As mentioned in the summary, the version of wubi.exe on http://releases.ubuntu.com/lucid/ is stil 10.04.1. This doesn't work anymore, since 10.04.2 has been released.

I've confirmed that. I'm currently running the 10.04.2 version of wubi.exe from http://people.canonical.com/~evand/wubi/lucid/ (r191)
