Hello Mike,
I think Emanuele is explaining the file you have uploaded is in italian, not in english, making it more difficult for translations.
You have to create a template (.pot), if possible in english, then duplicate and rename it multiple times for localization in different languages (fr.po, de.po, nl.po, etc.).
