Comment 28 for bug 878492

Guys, what I don't understand about this bug report is why using "F" keys is a problem for everything but Alt+F1 (Launcher Keyboard Navigation Mode) and the long-standing Alt+F4 (to close a window)?????

REGARDING Maximize/Restore keyboard shortcut:
Currently, "Keyboard Shortcuts" allows users to configure the following:
-"Toggle maximization state" = pressing toggles between the Maximize/Restore states
-"Maximize window" = pressing maximizes the window. If the window is already maximized it does nothing (yeah!)

So as long as these superb customization options stay, it doesn't matter what the defaults are because users can set what they want: a toggle or no-toggle for maximize/restore.
