Bug Description
See also: bug #731872 ("Launcher: maximised + autohide relies on mouseout to hide") and bug #732438 ("Launcher forgets to hide/dodge after long uptime").
the application panel stays up with auto hide when you use a shortcut that has you input a password for root/su access.
to cause this have auto hide enabled and pin something like synaptic then open it and when when the password prompt comes up the panel stays up (along with the name of the shortcut) even after you input the password, and to make it hide again you have to move your mouse pointer onto the panel and off
I think that it should be were it would hide after the password at least without having to float the mouse pointer over it again
theres an example attached
