Thanks for your speedy help. I invoked the script as you requested this
time only with the reset for automount and nothing else - that did bring
back the drive icons on the desktop but Sound-Juicer was still not seeing
the drives. Turns out Sound-Juicer was having trouble finding the device to
use since I had two source drives (dvd and cd). Setting the Sound-juicer -d
/dev/sr0 after doing a wodim --devices to see the device assignments did the
trick. Although I still think there is a bug somewhere in addition to
Sound-Juicer - most likely in the latest Lucid updates becuase I still get
the drives popping in and out of the File Manager screens every so often.
So please close the bug report as it was not a bug but more a settings and
Sound-Juicer issue.
