Steps to reproduce:

1. Open https://one.ubuntu.com/contacts
2. Click on a contact
3. Click "Edit contact" link
4. Enter some text in the "Notes" field and save the contact
5. Click "Edit contact" link
6. Delete contents of "Notes" field and save the contact
7. Click the "Edit contact" link

Result: Notes field still has content
Expected result: Notes field is empty

Workaround for now is to leave a space in the field rather than leaving it empty.
