Comment 3 for bug 1253728

I upgraded to Ubuntu 14.04 (ubuntuone-client 13.10-0ubuntu2) and am experiencing the same issue. I have the main Ubuntu One window greyed out with "Getting information, please wait..." displayed above it with an animation. In the greyed-out window in the upper-right corner, I can see "File Sync error: (auth failed (AUTH_FAILED))".

This is really bad error handling! Obviously Ubuntu One needs to catch the AUTH_FAILED error and present solutions to the user, such as logging in again.
