When xserver-xorg-video-intel is installed the X server still appears to start (the screen goes black and I can hear the startup sound), but no output is produced on the screen.
I should probably mention that I am using DVI output (via ADD2 card), so possibly the driver incorrectly selects VGA output, but I have no way to test this. Is there a way to force the driver to use the DVI port?
