Also another information that You don't like at much :)
mabovo@macbook:~$ glxgears
7849 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1569.723 FPS
8065 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1612.917 FPS
8229 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1645.720 FPS
7983 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1596.512 FPS
