You don't understand. The system doesn't start the graphical server at all. It just freezes. Not even CTRL+1 or CTRL+ALT+DEL doesn't work. This affects me in BETA 2.
I have tested Lucid RC and it seems to work just fine. I mean ... everything works ... even compiz (wow). I haven't had compiz since 6.06 on this computer. I've also ran the command you mentioned to grab some debug results. I hope this won't be broken in the final. The RC just works.
