I bet it is, I just closed this for xserver-xorg-driver-ati which was renamed to -video-ati for edgy.

You could follow the SRU procedure to get the fix in dapper

of if SRU is not the way to go, a backport might be better:

That would mean getting 6.6.3 in dapper.
