the entries at the end are probably caused by switching to tty1 and back.

in case you wonder:
i made dvi and vga use the same monitor section by setting
 Option "Monitor-DVI-0" "Generic Monitor"
 Option "Monitor-VGA-0" "Generic Monitor"

this does _not_ affect the problem.
