Refto desktop cube - I am using default desktop wall, but still experience freezes :( Last one yesterday - after activating "show desktop" (but I am not saying that the bug is related to this particular plugin, I think it is somewhere in the compiz core as it obviously manifests itself also while "using" other special effects).
One curious observation - after the freeze I again have been able to switch to virtual console (after "unfreezing" keyboard with Alt-Sysrq-R). compiz.real was consuming nearly 100% cpu. I killed it, and when I switched back to X display (i.e. Alt-F7) I noticed that the gui is no longer frozen (I was downloading something in firefox, and I could see that the download window was showing increasing download progress etc.). I was however unable to "click" on anything with the mouse (but I guess that is normal behaviour fater terminating compiz.real process) or use the keyboard.
