1:12.5.1-1ubunt4 does *not* fix this problem for me.
This version of the input driver here, http://launchpadlibrarian.net/11183204/vmmouse_drv.so, does fix the problem. I ma using the same xorg.conf in both cases. I have evdev and auto add disabled.
