I'm dealing with the same problem, it's really annoying, I dont remember that happening in previous versions. At first I thought it was something to do with screensaver. But I disabled it and still got the same problem.
Mine is an Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2,93GHz.
I'll try out Rytis tip to see if that works.
